Overnight Work 9/15 - 9/21

From Friday September 15 to Thursday September 21, there will be overnight work performed at the southeastern corner of the Office along Boylston Street every night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. While work is taking place, Boylston Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic and local travel may be delayed. We will be taking the proper steps to mitigate any potential noise impacts over this period. Activity within the plaza remains ongoing, including work at the observation elevator and level 1 and 2 terraces.

Activities along the western edge of the plaza, such as metal panel install, remain ongoing.

On site at the Boylston Street parcel, interior work, glass installation at the lower floors, and exterior site work around the entrance will continue.

On site at the Newbury Street parcel, various activities including glass installation and finishes will continue throughout the building.

For safety and logistical reasons, nighttime work will continue as needed around the podium, along the railway, and within the Boylston and Newbury Street sites where required, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. The project is taking measures to avoid and mitigate noise and traffic impacts from ongoing activities.   • Install and testing of tunnel systems.

  • Detailing activities under the deck within the MBTA commuter rail tracks and Mass Pike.

  • Installation of the exterior glass curtain wall at the southeastern corner of the Office along Boylston St.

  • The retail plaza has various activities underway, including work at the observation elevator and at the level 1 and 2 terraces.

  • For safety and logistical reasons, major deliveries and critical activities may be coordinated during off hours to limit impact to the public and roadways during peak travel periods.

After four years of construction, we are excited to announce that the Parcel 12 Air Rights Development construction project is nearing completion. Moving forward, remaining look-aheads will provide advisories for remaining impactful activities, as well as notices for upcoming events to celebrate the opening of Lyrik Back Bay, formerly known as Parcel 12.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the neighborhood and the traveling public for your patience during construction. Although extensive, it has brought new vibrancy and cohesion to the neighborhood, as well as a new gateway to the City. We hope you agree that the wait has been worth it.

Exciting Events at Lyrik Plaza – Join Us This September and October!

We are delighted to invite you to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Lyrik Plaza, an open-air haven where art, music, and community come together at the intersection of Newbury Street, Boylston Street, and Massachusetts Avenue. We are pleased to announce a series of complimentary events beginning in September and continuing through October 10th. Below are the highlights:

Party in the Plaza On Sunday, September 8th, in conjunction with the final Open Newbury event of the season, we will celebrate with performances by Grooversity Boston, KNSZWRTH, and Mez.wav. The event will also feature live illustrations by Liv To Paint, delightful treats from Lizzie's Bakery and The Half Cookie, and a sunset toast to mark the beginning of many unforgettable events in the plaza.

Lizzie’s Bakery Pop-Up Visit us daily from 10 AM to 7 PM for a special pop-up by Lizzie's Bakery, featuring unique collaborations with The Half Cookie and other local tastemakers.

Berklee College of Music's Summer in the City Every Tuesday from 6 PM to 7 PM, enjoy live music performances by Berklee College of Music students.
